FAQ

What is Freeride512?
Freeride512 builds and rides progressive mountain bike trails and features in and around Central Texas. We educate mountain bikers on the disciplines of all-mountain, downhill, and freeride mountain biking and help riders to progress their skills.

Where is the Freeride512 Park?
FREERIDE 512 is currently working with Rocky Hill Ranch to build some sick jumps lines, slopestyle features, flow trails, and a pump track race course.  These feature will definitely be one-of-a-kind for Central Texas!  The trails are currently under construction, but some are rideable!  Check back to see our progress.

Located in the Lost Pines forest in Smithville, Texas, Rocky Hill Ranch currently has 40 miles of sweet, flowy XC singletrack.  With the addition of the coming freeride features, RHR is sure to be the Mountain Biking Capital of Texas!  For information on how to ride the trails, see the Fr512 Membership page. .

How do i sign up to be a member of Freeride512?
We are a group of mountain bike riders who enjoy progressing our skills, and the skills of others, through aggressive riding. Dirt jumps, technical descents, drops, skinnies - we live to ride them all and just can’t get enough.  When we’re not out riding, we’re out digging, cutting, or building. We’re fanatic about freeride and love to share our stoke with like-minded riders.

As a Fr512 Member, when can I ride the park?
Members can ride any time so long as you sign in and pay the day use fee at the main Rocky Hill Ranch Pavilion. The only caveat is the back gate may not be open during non-build days. On build days, the gate will be open, and the landowner has agreed to waive the day use fee for people who are bona fide digging/building.

Haven't been to the Freeride512 park before?
You're welcome to check us out and join a ride sesh before committing to membership. RHR's $10 day pass and FR512 waiver still apply. Membership fees build our community helping with costs associated with building trail, i.e. equipment rental, materials, etc.
